10 tips

Before delivery day

Planning a hot tub at a Houston home

A few things we check for almost every Houston delivery:

Access to the backyard

Townhomes and older inner-Loop lots often have narrow side yards or no rear gate. We check the route to the backyard before delivery day so there are no surprises.

Electrical

Most full-size hot tubs need a dedicated 240V GFCI-protected circuit installed by a licensed electrician. If you’d rather skip that, ask about plug-and-play models that run on a standard outlet.

City, county and HOA rules

Houston has no zoning, but many neighborhoods have deed restrictions or HOA rules, and work inside city limits goes through the City of Houston. We’ll tell you what applies at your address.

Heat, humidity and rain

Houston summers are long and humid, and heavy rain can pool fast. A good-fitting cover keeps heating costs down, and a spot that drains well keeps the spa sitting level.
