Before delivery day

Planning a hot tub at a Katy home

A few things we check for almost every Katy delivery:

Access to the backyard

Newer Katy homes often have narrow side yards and tall privacy fences. We check gate widths and the route to the backyard before delivery day.

Electrical

Most full-size hot tubs need a dedicated 240V GFCI-protected circuit installed by a licensed electrician. If you’d rather skip that, ask about plug-and-play models that run on a standard outlet.

City, county and HOA rules

Katy spans Harris, Fort Bend and Waller counties, and the master-planned communities have their own architectural review. We’ll tell you what applies at your address.

Flat ground and heavy rain

Katy is flat prairie, so water can pool after heavy rain. We help you pick a spot that drains well and recommend a level, solid pad.
