10 tips

Before delivery day

Planning a hot tub at a Sugar Land home

A few things we check for almost every Sugar Land delivery:

Access to the backyard

Many Sugar Land homes have narrow side yards and HOA-approved fencing. We check gate widths and the route to the backyard before delivery day.

Electrical

Most full-size hot tubs need a dedicated 240V GFCI-protected circuit installed by a licensed electrician. If you’d rather skip that, ask about plug-and-play models that run on a standard outlet.

City, county and HOA rules

The City of Sugar Land sets its own permit rules, and most neighborhoods have HOA architectural review. We’ll tell you what applies at your address.

Heat, humidity and rain

Fort Bend summers are long and humid, and heavy rain can pool on flat lots. A good-fitting cover and a spot that drains well keep the spa clean and level.
