Before delivery day

Planning a hot tub at a Friendswood home

A few things we check for almost every Friendswood delivery:

Access to the backyard

We check gate widths, slopes and fences before delivery day, and plan around tight side yards so the spa goes in without surprises.

Electrical

Most full-size hot tubs need a dedicated 240V GFCI-protected circuit installed by a licensed electrician. If you’d rather skip that, ask about plug-and-play models that run on a standard outlet.

City, county and HOA rules

Most of Friendswood is in Galveston County, with a northern slice in Harris County, and many neighborhoods need HOA approval first. We’ll tell you what applies at your address.

Drainage near Clear Creek

Parts of Friendswood sit close to Clear Creek, so we look at drainage and ground level when picking a spot, and recommend a solid, raised pad where it helps.
